You seeI just as I have finished my comment on Angie's blog about the coords I now remembered I had my share of wearing the trend in the nineties and really loved my version--so worn it to the ground (together or separated).
This black and neutral dotted in grey&tans coord was sewn to order after my own idea and consisted of a woven crepe midi A line skirt and a short sleeve button down top with small copper metalic buttons down the front.
Here I was wearing it with all my pride of being a true adult at christening my niece in 1993.
Do I have to eat my words-but I was much more slender and as you can see I also layered it with my cream tailored blazer (part of my baccalaureate chanel like pencil skirt suit -also made on order for me).
Hubby is wearing a silk shirt and slim leather tie- wow, I am so not used to see that much color on him from ever since!:-)
Those were the times!
Thanx for looking and commenting.
