Yowee that's a lot of change. Go on her website and check the sale section, there is one really cool statement necklace in gold and I don't think it's nearly as much.

Major bling at a major price tag. Did you check some other designers and see if anyone has a similar one for less? It's hard to spend that much when it's not the real thing.

I totally see the love for this. However, the price tag is a deal killer. Like looking at some gorgeous person and then discovering some gross personal hygiene habit.

Hey - It's a case of never leave a retail stone unturned isn't it?
If you have the perfect outfit for it. Go on, live dangerously and slum it. Dumping a bank on things gets so tedious I find too.

It is gorgeous but aside from the staggering price tag I also would not have many occasions to wear it to justify the cost - would you? This is definitely not an everyday piece of bling...

You have clearly defined taste and I don't know if you like vintage so you may not like the link above. Ruby Lane is a site that often has more higher quality vintage jewelry pieces than Etsy. I have zero connection with them but a friend who does wardrobe for TV shows swears by them.

I put in the term "runway necklace" in the vintage jewelry category and came up with some fun sparklers.
