Just got this email from Nordstrom--I've gone through a couple of pages of these dresses--there are a few new ones. They are generally too short, sleeveless, fit and flare (not me) or quite fitted. http://shop.nordstrom.com/c/we.....4-_-esmefi

I have a new wrinkle for a late August wedding. My DH has been asked to be the officiator. He already went online and became an ordained minister. I insist that he buy a new suit unless the bride and groom want him to wear a tux. All his suits are old and don't fit otherwise.

Should this make a difference in what I wear? By the way, I'm not sure it matters that much as long as I don't embarrass anyone. I am the step-grandmother of the groom. His Mom is going to be wearing a gorgeous long dress, and will look spectacular. I'm sure her Mom will wear a long dress.

I have bought two dresses, both of which will be worn on other occasions. Both are mid to just above the knee length. One is sleeveless but covered, and the other has long sleeves and a deep V neck. Both are sheaths.

One of these days I'll get the energy to take some photos, but I still am not sure either dress is "the one."
