Nordstrom Rack shipping via Lasership...

Nordstrom Rack is using Lasership for shipping... Not impressed. My current order of 4 items is missing, none of the items are still in stock in my size.

When I called I was told that they would credit me for the missing package after it was missing for at least nine business days. Yikes. I would actually call this the bare minimum in Customer Service, and am a little surprised they aren't using UPS or FedEx!

Honestly, Fed Ex has been TERRIBLE lately. I don't know why, but sometimes Macy's will ship part of an order via USPS or UPS and part via FedEx, and FedEx is always at least four or five days later than the UPS or USPS. Given the state of the USPS, it's not really saying something good if they're more reliable than Fed Ex!

But I'm sorry about your package. Often, I've had packages that were very late show up, and I hope that turns out to be the case for you, given that they no longer have your size.

How disappointing!
Echo- I have had issues with Fed Ex, too.
I also get shipments where one part comes one carrier and another part from a different carrier. I assumed it was because they come from different fulfillment centers or stores. Not every carrier picks up everywhere.

Also remember that the volume of e-commerce has gone way up in a short amount of time & it these kinds of supply chains take years to build. Many retailers reached there capacity with the more established delivery companies at Xmas & I’m guessing trying some of the smaller ones to insure they have alternatives.
For what it’s worth, I ordered something yesterday from old navy & Lasership delivered it an hour ago

They claimed they tried delivering my order yesterday, but we were home all day (ok aside from paddleboarding early am). I called Rack to give them a description, cause my neighborhood is a bit wonky- so we'll see.

suntiger- that's what would happen with FedEx for me. I would get a doortag that they tried to deliver, but I had been wfh...sitting in front of the big window all day. I never saw a truck, or heard anyone bang on the gate.
