So I contacted Nordstrom again via Live Chat to find out exactly how pre-sale purchases work if you are not going to a store.
You can either telephone their toll free number (for Canadians, we would call 888-282-6060), give your Nordstrom card number to them and proceed to place your order. Or you can go onto Live Chat through the Nordstrom website, give them your Nordstrom card number and place your order through your Live Chat assistant.
There is no code required - just your card number. For someone like me who has applied for a card but not physically received it yet, if I don't have it by July 11th, I can still go on Nordstrom Live Chat and tell them I don't have my card number with me and the assistant will check with the Credit Department and obtain my number and I can then place my order with the Live Chat assistant.
