What I said in the main thread:
Just chiming in to reiterate Nordstrom's position that it wasn't a political move on their part.
"We’ve said all along we make buying decisions based on performance. We’ve got thousands of brands – more than 2,000 offered on the site alone. Reviewing their merit and making edits is part of the regular rhythm of our business. Each year we cut about 10 percent and refresh our assortment with about the same amount. In this case, based on the brand’s performance we’ve decided not to buy it for this season."
I would be interested in knowing how the sales are doing of the designers that she wears. Whatever Michelle Obama wore, or Kate Middleton wears, instantly sells out. Even Melania Trump's white bell sleeve dress sold out within a day. Maybe Ms. Trump would have had better success had she worn her own brand more often.
