Nordstrom "Clear the Rack" sale question

So the Nordstrom "Clear the Rack Sale" goes through tomorrow. What are the chances it will be extended? Anyone with scoop? I don't really want to go shopping tomorrow, but I hate to miss it. I'm not interested in the online sale.

Angie, I've already poked my way through the online sale, and nothing called my name. I really want to go paw through the racks myself now!

I don't know if it will be extended or not but my daughter went today and she scored big time. She bought 3 pairs of shoes 3 blouses and a skirt.
Her shoes are really cute. None of what she bought have I seen on line.

A season or two ago I bought something just before the sale. Then the price went lower because of clear the racks. Due to travel I wasn't able to get to a store until the day after the sale ended. Could not get a price adjustment either. So the moral of the story is - at least in my experience - the end date IS the end date. Go to the store and have fun!

This is pretty much it. They may reduce some items again in a few weeks, but not necessarily. I miss when they had the additional markdown stickers regularly, but now they only do this.

Good luck! I didn't find anything earth-shattering this time, but I found this jacket last time... for around $120 down from $900! Most of what was on the racks was there last time, too. They had a quilted Burberry jacket in my store but it was size XS, way too small for me. I also saw a few pairs of leather leggings. I was hoping to find a DVF dress, but no luck.

(Looks like the last Clear the Rack event was 2 months ago, so they do have them pretty regularly.)

I've not been to this sale but have never seen the sale extended. The most marked down items disappear after the sale though. The best stuff is usually one-of-a-kind that is not on the website. I also find that things marked down may not be true to size and need to be tried on.

Yay, I scored some great Zella (not Z by Zella) workout clothes and some Bedhead flannel pajamas for next winter. Thanks for encouraging me, y'all!

ETA: I noticed lots of Eileen Fisher dresses on the clearance rack for you EF fans!

Nice! I meant to look for some Zella stuff but forgot. I did try an EF dress and almost bought it, but them remembered a recent post here about quality and pilling. I found it a little confusing that the clearance designer stuff was mostly on the usual designer racks rather than the clearance racks. I thought it would've been moved to the rest of the clearance area!

Yay, glad you went! If I remember correctly from the Rack days, they're trying to get all that stuff out to make room for new merch. Much of what didn't sell may get forwarded to Last Chance.

I went and scored a pair of the Joie black silk cuffed pants for about $33, down from $288. These may be a size larger, and they don't seem to have the bunching problem. When I took the others back, I explained the problem and the SA was going to give them to their tailor to see if they could be fixed, so maybe they were.
I did not see any EF dresses on clearance at our Rack. If they had some they may have sold out. I meant to try an EF blazer but forgot about it.
I got a pair of Juliana Huff nude wedged with ankle straps.
