I haven't tried any Nordstrom brands for cashmere, but will say I got a beautiful cashmere 'boyfriend' cardigan at Nordstrom Rack a few years ago, which has held up amazingly well. The brand is Forte. It's about four years old now and still looks pristine. No pills whatsoever, and easy to wash in the gentle cycle and lay flat to dry. Doesn't pill, doesn't wrinkle and somehow fluffs up perfectly and looks like new after a wash in the machine on gentle and just laying it flat to dry.
Most of my knits don't last very long at all and I'm usually unhappy with the quality - not so with this Forte brand cardigan I found at Nordstrom Rack. I've long since gotten rid of lots of sweaters over the past few years, and yet - this one cashmere cardigan is still going strong!
In the meantime, if you do decide to try a Nordstrom brand cashmere sweater or three - I'd love to hear your feedback. Starting to get cold around here and I'm *done* with cheap knits that don't hold up for more than a wash or two.
