Shooties help needed!

I am looking for a pair of shooties to wear with skirts and dresses - I am loving that look this season - but they are so hard to find in my size (9N). How about these? Do you think they will look good with skirts, or should I try to find something with a higher vamp? They don't come in grey in my size, only black and brown, so I would probably get them in black.

I like the black ones. I think they may work, but I'd have to see the skirt or skirts first.

i would go with a shootie over a bootie, but my poison eye for booties is well known around these parts.

The second are more on trend. I like them better. I like that they're more streamlined and sophisticated. The first look heavy to my eye. Heavy is a big look right now, but it's more intentional than those.

Thank you for your comments! Kristen and bj1111, my original intent was to get a shootie, mostly for wear with skirts, but I agree with Alecia, the second pair are more on trend, and they are booties (I have slouchy top booties, not straight top). My problem is my narrow width size, with booties I can buy a regular width and just throw on a pair of socks and they'll fit, but no-can-do with shooties.
I think I'll keep looking <sigh>

I really like the booties here. The narrow ankle would make them very easy to wear with dresses IMO.

I woudn't say that these are the most trendy shoes in town, but to my eye they look like a classic shootie that would be fun to wear with a dress.

I prefer the second pair for skirts and dresses. The first ones would look good with trousers or jeans, but they're a bit chunky and casual for skirts and dresses.

Actually, the first pair is more on trend. The second pair might make you feel more feminine in outfits and "less stumpy" if you know what I mean.

Oh, I sympathize with your difficulty in finding your size! I wear a 9 1/2 narrow, and it's next to impossible to find. I usually end up looking for regular width shoes that run narrow and wearing them with an insole.
