Nordie's half year sale question

They seem to have sold out of the item I was hoping to order. I waited to long to pull the trigger. Is there some secret way to find out if there are any more of an item? I already tried to chat online and call directly.

If I have an item on my wishlist on their website, I keep checking the website to see if it suddenly shows back in stock. That has worked for me on several occasions - one day it is out, next day it shows up, I place an order, and then it disappears again. I think this usually means that it was a return but I am not sure.

Can you put in miscellaneous zip codes in the check stores to see if any stores have it? Then call them and have them send it? Not sure they do that but I would think so if the item is in stores.

One time an item was supposedly sold out, but they were able to check an alternate inventory system. I had to go into a store and have a sales associate look it up. But that was last year. I do not know if their inventory system has changed.

I think if you go to the store they can check other store's inventory and I've once had someone offer to keep checking for me. I'd think if there were returns after the sale it could come back into stock. I have had items in my cart listed as out of stock come back.

Ditto what the others said. I have seen things sold out on-line before but have had luck with the sales associate checking inventory from other stores. Same with articles in my cart coming back onto stock. Good luck, Rita!

Same for me. The website showed that my size was sold out, but when I called a store directly, there were multiples there.

We can check on the store level to see if there is any availability. Sometimes when inventory is super low it appears as unavailable online. Call your local store and they can do a merchandise search for you.

Thank you for your help! I kept clicking reload to see if it would pop back up online but it did not. I called to do a store level search and they were able to find my item in a Chicago store. It is now on it's way to me. Hurray!

ETA: I should clarify that I called a store to do a store level search, not the 1800 number on the web.
