The white MIA Camilla boots arrived today and both are going back. I ordered both 9 and 10. The 9 (pictures 1-2) was painfully tight in the toes, but the fit in the ankle and leg was pretty good. I was sliding around in the 10 (pictures 3-4), even with additional inner soles, and they were loose in the leg and ankle. (These were offered in most half sizes, but not 9.5.)
Oh, well. I like the look, so I may try again if I see another pair of white boots. But no compromising on fit!
