Oh wow! Well I think you accomplished everything you'd hoped for and more with this look. I love the rose-gold shimmery color on you and the bodycon skirt is just the perfect foil for the sculptural jacket. Can you do no wrong, woman? Sheesh!

Late here, but this is a gorgeous outfit. The jacket doesn't look boxy at all.

That is very special jacket and it is gorgeous on you. Love it with your hair color. Have you tried it with pants or jeans? Seems like you could have a lot of fun with it. A real statement piece .

Eliza,
I love the idea of wearing this jacket with jeans!

I'm late to this thread too, but I missed replying to this yesterday. I think you look fabulous Jean. The fabric of your jacket is so unusual and the colour suits you beautifully. A gorgeous outfit.
Thank you everyone.
Joy, nothing tempted me at the fashion shoe this year.
My favorite pieces were non-textile clothes made from some really interesting materials like Christmas bullbs and bottle caps- not very wearable but wonderfully innovative.
That jacket is utterly beautiful - I love that rose-gold shade, and the texture is breathtaking.
LOVE this! I know I'm super late, but I had to say it. I agree 100% with everything Claire said!
So cool! Edgy and perfect for the occasion I would think. And you have my dream hair!

What strikes me about this outfit is that the jacket is stunning but it doesn't overwhelm. You shine in this, that is, the emphasis is on you. Is this because you've kept the other elements simple?

Lantana,
I think that I am becoming more of a minimalist.
One thing I have been aware of is that my hair is a hectic color and texture,
too much and everything gets lost.
It is the same in art.
I am always telling my students that less color is more color.
I doubt I will ever be a modern classic minimalist but some kind in my own way (that could change).
It could also have to do with being far too busy to fuss much.

Beautifully modern and minimal with just the perfect amount of KILLER hectic hair!
