Oh wow! Well I think you accomplished everything you'd hoped for and more with this look. I love the rose-gold shimmery color on you and the bodycon skirt is just the perfect foil for the sculptural jacket. Can you do no wrong, woman? Sheesh!

Thank you everyone. Joy, nothing tempted me at the fashion shoe this year. My favorite pieces were non-textile clothes made from some really interesting materials like Christmas bullbs and bottle caps- not very wearable but wonderfully innovative.
What strikes me about this outfit is that the jacket is stunning but it doesn't overwhelm. You shine in this, that is, the emphasis is on you. Is this because you've kept the other elements simple?
Lantana, I think that I am becoming more of a minimalist. One thing I have been aware of is that my hair is a hectic color and texture, too much and everything gets lost. It is the same in art. I am always telling my students that less color is more color. I doubt I will ever be a modern classic minimalist but some kind in my own way (that could change). It could also have to do with being far too busy to fuss much.
