I am sure there are more things, but this is what stands out right now.
  1. I look like my mother, at least the body shape
  2. Home clothing = frump tendency
  3. My work style = classic and is under control
  4. I have a definite disconnect between my work clothing and my home clothing – Work = classic / Home = just OK (I really do not have a descriptor for it)
  5. I found my color palette – black, white, teal, cranberry, grey
  6. Shoes make me happy – this is not new news but I wish I had been able to have more shoe variety.
  7. I have not put into
practice what I have learned here, at YLF.
  8. I like my new closet organization. – Like items in color order
  9. Spring/Summer wardrobe is in better shape than F/W
  10. I want to look good gardening – I had several visitors while wearing my gardening clothes
  11. I do not want to be seen as the crazy old lady in the weird clothes. – OK, I like to read Advanced Style, but I do not want to look like them.
  12. I would not mind being seen as the crazy old lady with the funky glasses and the great shoes. ( I hope this is different than # 11)

What I need to do

  1. Get in and try on clothes in the store. – I wish I had a buddy to help with this
  2. Translate my classic style into my home clothing – and make it comfortable
  3. Think about what my clothing says about me – my work wardrobe says ‘stay away’ Home, not so much.

Question

Are you guys consistent with your work and home wardrobes?
