This is the last time I am wearing this dress. Angie said something like it was my most flattering look, but I have no happiness factor in it and only kept it because it didn't need ironing and had a full skirt which was handy when I was on creche at church and needed to sit on the floor.
Yesterday I wore it for creche and then decided to give it away. I asked a younger woman at church (same height as me, but, slimmer, bigger bust and higher waist) it she'd like it and she jumped at the chance!
I have pinpointed what ruins the happiness for me 1) an elasticated waist (not visible under the belt) which is too high and also is itchy) 2) the pattern is not bright enough - the whites are greyed. I tried to brighten up the outfit with the white broach and the red cardi, but at some point it will get too hot for the cardi!
