Nine West faux wrap dress K/R

I was returning my Express order and happened to walk though Macys. They had several sizes of Nine West faux wrap dress (Angie's pick that Kari and modgirl have) on clearance rack. What do you think? The side view was taken without sucking in my stomach to show off the apple-ness made apparent by the body-con dress.

I like it and I like it on you. If you feel comfortable in it then it's a keeper. Lots of options for unders and overs.

I don't like the neckline, I think it is too high. If you don't mind that, then I think the dress fits nicely....and I have a faux wrap dress that I wear Spanx under to flatten my tum and smooth everything out

I think the dress looks very nice on you. It fits well and is a striking dress. I do think you might consider the the dark tights though, maybe something not so dark and opaque.

Ooo! Ooo! The scribble dress! It is my go to dress up without any effort dress these days. It looks great on you! I wear it with black opaque tights and black knee high heeled boots. Have fun with it, it very nice on you.

Oh, yay, I LOVE that dress (but you know that already.) Like Modgrl, it is truly my go-to dress when I want to make a statement without too many layers, because I know I can just pop on tights & boots or pumps with the dress and feel instantly confident - just like how you styled it here. I also love how the coloring of the dress allows me to wear either brown or black boots with it.

I love the way the dress fits you, too. You know what, honestly, I look exactly like that from the side if I'm not sucking it in and/or wearing shapewear. It's refreshing to me to know that other beautiful women, like you, resemble my body in that way and makes me feel less self-conscious about my midsection. You are gorgeous!

Thanks, everyone! I actually like the higher neckline, as well as the slightly longer length.

Kari and Rita, I always enjoy seeing pictures of you wearing this dress! I was thinking that this dress will be perfect for travel, and then noticed that Kari was indeed wearing it for travel to Toronto.

Isis, this item is indeed something of a departure for me - I don't have any wrap dresses and have been thinking of trying some. This one feels very nice and seems an easy way to try a wrap (or faux wrap) style.

I really like the dress, even though I am still a bit uncertain about wearing something that is so close-fitting. I mostly try to camouflage my belly, wearing long cardigans or woven shirts that skim the midsection. With a couple of knit travel dresses that tend to hug the midsection, I usually wear long scarves. But I think it will be fun to try something new.

I think this looks great on you, and as Isis said, it seems like it's branching out a bit for you. Would you feel more comfortable wearing a jacket over it? I think it would look nice that way, too.

Keep! It offers excellent coverage at the neckline and hem and the busy all-over print is very flattering. I love it on you. I second Sarah, wear an open blazer with it if that makes you more comfortable (or a long, solid scarf, like you mentioned). You look smashing in this dress!
