Night club invitation - help!

Hi all,

Ive been invited to a night club this Friday and not sure what to wear. I'm a 42 year old racy rectangle, 5ft 8ins tall dress size uk 14. I have lots of clothes but never seem to know what to wear for the right occasion! Please help!

I know the confusion you feel. I say keep it simple. Wear slim trousers or jeans heels or booties and a peplum top with sparkly jewelry or a cami paired with a peplum jacket.

I'd second Day Vies. For a club, the fall-back outfit that you can always rely on is jeans + fab top + heels. This outfit has the added bonus of being appropriate for the occasion, but also not looking too 'clubby', if you know what I mean. I would also add jewelry as above, maybe a statement necklace or a stack of bracelets.

Back in my (limited) clubbing days, it was jeans or black short skirt with cute top and earrings. ANd funky boots or flats.

Thanks for all your help, I'm hearing y'all! I'm going shopping with a girlfriend on Friday and hope to buy some accessories that will jazz up my tops one of which, I think I'll wear with dark denims and heels x
