Nice Blazer

I've been looking for a comfortable, tailored, classic black blazer for years and I saw this one yesterday. I rarely dress up. My uniform is basically jeans and a sweater/t-shirt. But I love this. The arm holes are reasonable, the length is great. What do you guys think? (I'm in my 60's, 5'2", 130 lbs)

I love it! The only thing is that because it's velvet it may not work year round but mostly for Fall and Winter but it's a classic that you can enjoy for a long time.

Joyce-I agree completely. OTOH, I live in Texas so wearing a jacket any other season is unbearable. In fact, this could probably double as a coat for most of the year!

Great blazer! I often wear a blazer with jeans--I think it tends to elevate the look. Several months ago I bought this Theory blazer. My life is pretty casual but it's a great alternative to a sweater and I'm so glad I purchased it. I have worn it when something more casual would suffice but it never feels to formal, just more pulled together.

BJ1111-- I live in Texas so this is perfect. It'll probably be the heaviest thing I need for all but the bluest of northers! (What we call a cold front in case you're unfamiliar with term).

Jill58 That Theory blazer is nice too. And with jeans is probably the only way I would wear this as wee. I actually considered this jacket but I think the buttons hit me in the wrong spot. It seemed a little overpowering on my 5'2" frame but it's truly beautiful. Plus I always find Theory too narrow for me under the arm.

I really like this jacket. It's velvet and velvet's stylish right now. I'd just wear it with jeans and a sweater/t-shirt like your uniform. If you order it, let us know how it works out.
