Or at least free shipping/returns!

Yes the sizing is more similar. Different sources have suggested it's the same, or one size bigger, or one size smaller, though, so while there's less of a psychological problem, still a bit hard to tell (plus there the usual issue of wearing one of about 4 different sizes in Australia anyway)

It's arrived. And I think the sizing is just right. I had an anxious moment putting it on as it seemed too tight, but I just needed to undo all the buttons!
DH says my head look unnaturally big one of those photos, so try to disregard!

Nice anne! I have the same one. I’ll tack on a picture to this thread as soon as I can.

Here is a pic of me in the dress.
I prefer the look of it with pants on me.

Smittie, our fit looks similar. I had not thought of wearing mine with pants under, thinking it would be too hot, but actually it could extend the wear!

Oh god, now I want it too. Hahaha! Love it over pants, Smittie.

What a great story, with a happy ending. You look fabulous in your checked dress, Elizabeth.

As do Beth, Suz, Smittie, Anne. . . did I leave anyone out??? Geez, what a YLF hit.
Vivian, it would look great on you, too.

Wanted to share 2 responses I got from the fam last night when I tried it on, late at night for the photo.

DH: is this a nightie?

DD15: Looks like a teatowel.

Nevertheless I still like it!!

Anne and Smittie, thanks so much for sharing your dress here. It looks great on both of you. I also wouldn't have thought of wearing it with pants, and it looks great, Smittie. Good way to extend the wear (although right now I can't imagine ever wearing pants again... this humidity!)

Anne, I hope you corrected your DD15: it's a tablecloth, not a tea towel

Thanks FC!

I’m quite surprised by the love of the tablecloth look.

But the reaction from strangers has been positive—a tablecloth makes you think of picnics, which is always positive.

I am loving the gingham and I hope there will be a navy or black gingham available for winter.

Tables have good taste. Ha ha, get it?

YAY, LOVE seeing you all in this amazing dress.

High five, Smittie. I love wearing this dress over white crops.

ANNE, well done. You ordered from Boden. Looks KILLER.

I love mine too, and I am wearing it in Pompei, Italy:

This is amazing - this dress looks great on all of you! Is it magic?

Elizabeth - yes I agree with you. I embroidered gingham to make a tablecloth when I was a child and we had other ones. I think DD hasn't had many tablecloths in her life (but we do have a teatowel with that check)

Angie - glad to see that you wore it (though I can see why that pic didn't make it to insta)

Anne, the pic was taken by a friend and looks like the halo of the Gods is shining on us in the ruins of Pompei
