New Year's eve outfits

Mine was rubbish. 2 coats, gloves, thermals and walking boots topped with a sleeping bag and duvet very unstylish but i managed to stay in the garden by the fire till 11.30!
So i'm desperate for a bit of style please post all your fab new years eve outfits for me to drool over x

I sported a black long sleeve T, old green sweater, and my husbands sweatpants. I was quite stylin' here at 10:00 I downed some cold medicine and went to bed. Woo hoo, what a party animal I am!

Ha - mine was so not sparkly but warm & fun! We had friends over for a Mexican Extravaganza (LOL - enough food for an army)! I had on a simple cream long-sleeve t with a black cardi. The fun accessory was a silver dipped cluster shell necklace that I thrifted for $1.39! I took it off the chain it was on & popped it on a nice long oxydized sterling silver link chain. FUN!! Hubby wore one of his favorite Hawaiian shirts for the evening. Happy New Year everyone!

I wore a banded polka dot blouse, dark denim pencil skirt, black textured tights, and black suede ballet flats. I had long chandelier earrings in my ears. I wore my moto jacket outdoors.

We went over to a neighbor's for dinner so it was tough to find a look that wasn't too smart, but let me try something YLF- ish. Thanks to YLF I ended up with new BF jacket, skinnies, and pearls mixed with my old Eileen Fisher sparkly top and some flats.

This is supposed to be a link, but the whole photo album thing is new to me and I probably didn't get it right yet. . . (found out my DD had an old photobucket account, so I'm trying to use that!!)

We stayed home so nothing exciting for me: black hoodie with bronze accents, lavendar v-neck tee and dark brown cargo pants.

Quiet evening with friends: skinny jeans, charcoal grey banded top (scoop neck, sort of a metallic-ish silver embroidery around the neckline), glossy black wedges from Nine West. No pics, or at least, none where you can see me in front of us all whirling sparklers around

I went out to dinner with my husband and Shopping Friend, so I used it as an excuse to dress up! Then we came home and put on loungewear and played Wii games, LOL. But I looked nice for a little bit!

My plans were kind of last-minute. Boyfriend and I intended to stick closer to home, but plans were cancelled and we ended up going out to a couple bars in the city, stayed overnight with friends, and spent yesterday enjoying a home-cooked buffet and board games. I wore a Boden sweaterdress that just arrived in the mail with brown tights and shoes and a labradorite pendant necklace.

Unfortunately my camera batteries weren't charged so the pictures are from my cell phone. Here and here.

I wore my pyjamas as I was quite unwell with an ear and throat infection. I spent the evening napping and woke up at 11.45 to wish Alan a Happy New Year and then went back to sleep ten minutes into the new decade...

I was on the loungewear team, since I wasn't feeling well, and even the kids' party we were supposed to go to got cancelled. Love the descriptions of everyone's outifts.

We went to see a jazz band, but came home before midnight. I like to spend it with my dogs!

I wore black skinny jeans, high suede boots, a dark grey batwing shirt and a jade green statement necklace. I felt a tad underdressed (although it ran the gamut). I remembered that confidence is one of the keys to fashion and just stood up straight and smiled. It worked!

Wow - I hope I didn't infect all of you with my hideous cold! LOL - by the time midnight rolled around I was wearing sweatpants, a long-sleeved t-shirt, thick black socks and tissues in each fist. Bleh!

I'm so sorry to hear so many of you were sick for New Year's Eve. Hope you all are feeling better by now.

We went out for the first time in quite a few years. Our teenage son was invited to a party and the parents were also invited. So much fun...champagne for the adults at midnight and sparkling cider for the kids!

I wore black jeans and a snow leopard print cardigan with an embellished neckline of chiffon, crystals and sequins. Here's a picture taken right after midnight. I think I was in my stocking feet by that point in the evening!

Everybody's outfits look and sound absolutely fab. I hope those of who were feeling under the weather are feeling much better now. We made last minute plans to go downtown for the annual new year city celebrations. I don't have any good pictures but I wore my black denim skirt with a black graphic tee, a black velvet blazer, stud leather cuff and turquoise-ish peep toe pumps. The weather was perfect!
