New to YLF and NAS

Hi, I have been lurking for over a year and finally joined! I bought my first frye boots at the NAS and would like your advice as far as fit. Can you guys tell me how to add pictures so I can post them?

Hi Mustard! Welcome to the forum. So excited to see your new boots! Unfortunately, you must be a member for about a week before you can post pictures. In the mean time, you can always upload to a photo sharing account (photobucket, flikr, picassa) and post a link for us.

Hi Mustard, welcome! Here's some info from the site re photos...hope this helps. Id love to see your boots.

"You must be a signed up YLF member and you must be at the “active member” level or higher. Note that this level is very easy to reach and most people do so in about one week after signing up.
You must have photos on your computer’s hard drive that you want to use in your post. If you took the photos you want to post with your digital camera then you need to transfer them to your hard drive before you can post them on YLF."

You must have Javascript enabled on your browser. If you don’t know what this means, don’t worry. Most people have it enabled already.

I am wearing a denim skirt that is too tight but it is the only skirt I have at this time. Let me know what you think of the boots.

great basic boot with a twist (the exposed zip). are you planning to wear them with skinnies or leggings? perhaps we could see a couple of pix of that option?

I will be wearing them with skinnies, they are currently being hemmed, but once I get them I will post.

I also got the vince camuto leggings

I feel sooooo much better about my purchase now that I have so many thumbs up. Obviously my year long reading helped me with the purchase. I tried on several boots and new that if they gaped around calf area that wasn't good and the height had to be right (tall but not too tall).

This was the boot that fit best and the zipper in the back is what made it easy to put on. I was looking at the zipper from a functional aspect! Never even looked at it as a design element. Boy! do I have a lot to learn! LOL

Love the boots. I think you chose well. Love the zip at the back...I haven't seen that before, it adds a bit of interest. Can't wait to see pics of them with your jeans and leggings.

Great boots! And they fit you really well, they'll look awesome with skinny jeans and leggings. Pre-YLF I had no idea about the no-gap rule with boots, and had no clue why my boots were looking off, now the perfect fitting boots in the calf are my pet-peeve LOL and I see ill-fitted boots everywhere!
