New to Me Loungewear - Sweater Pants!

Thistle

I recently discovered sweater pants. Dressier than fleece, but oh so snuggly and warm.

I bought them this weekend and didn't want to get out of them! For those of you also enduring the deepfreeze, this may be something to consider.

I bought them discounted at Talbots, but I am sure they are elsewhere too.

Sounds good!
I posted my flannel- lined jeans which finally got me out of my fleece some of the time. Those and sweater pants and similar items with comfort but some degree of fit are things I'm on the lookout for.

Wow - that sounds great, Thistle. Do they retain their shape when you sit and cuddle on the couch and such? Can they go right in the washer?

Here they are! I bought them in black versus grey as I thought they were dressier. They are, unfortunately, handwash, but I have a handwash cycle on the washer.

I bought them a size up so I could layer underneath if needed. They hang well. They are lounge pants for sure, but I found them nice this weekend for hanging out and playing with DD. They didn't get all linty after a wear as some sweaters do either.

Not sure how they will hold up yet as I just got them.

They look like what I described in another post as the high end sweatpants I bought and am loving.

Mine also don't gather around the ankles like I think of sweatpants doing...mine and these just look like knit pants. Can you describe how yours are different from sweatpants? I want to see if I should try them.

Mmmmm, sweater pants. Those look great!

I had a pair of red cashmere sweater pants I got on sale at Limited or Express ages ago. I think I might still have them, but I ended up wearing holes into the thighs because I wore them around the house so much.

Those are cool Thistle because you can throw a coat and boots on with them and skeedadle out for a quick errand. I would probably sleep in them too!

They don't gather at the ankle, and they do have a nice drape. They are not flattering over any lumps and bumps around the hips, but I wear a longer shirt with them anyway, so no worries there.

Overall, I am liking them for lounging!
