A couple packages came so, even though it’s almost 90°, I dressed up long enough to snap some photos.

I love the new boots. Love the duster sweater. Love the belt, but I need to do some thinking about if I’ll really wear it or am just enchanted by the textile.

I’m iffy on the pants. They’re comfortable, but I can’t decide how I feel about the fit. But also they’re really cool! Maybe it’s just been a while since I had real pants and I’ve forgotten what they feel like. Sort of like when you put on boots for the first time after a summer of bare feet and sandals. Or maybe they really aren’t cut properly for me. I can’t decide. Any immediate thoughts based on how they look?

Bonus pic: I went to the flower district this morning and came home with this pot. Can you see why?

Um, is that pot wearing your shirt?! (Also, cool glasses!)

I like it all too! The pants are cool but I would go up a size. The scrunching around your knees tells me that when you sit down they'll be riding up... they look cool now but after a day of wearing them I think you might be sick of tugging here, there, and everywhere.

I’m wearing the largest size on the pants, so it’s these or pass. I do think a larger size would be too big in the waist though.

Ooh, I like it all! The pants are motorcycle pants so yeah, they fit close. These don’t look like a bad fit to me at all. If they’re the same fabrication as mine, it’s a pretty substantial fabric that is best suited to cooler temps, so yeah, I can see how they might not feel quite right at the moment. I haven’t even had mine on yet this season. I would wear them around the house a while to see how they feel as you go through your day. I think they’re super cool on you, but I am biased!

That planter kills me - and your glasses make you look “happy” - which sounds really weird and I don’t mean it like that but they have a happy vibe :). Not a fan of the fit of the pants . You can find better I’m sure .

Glad the boots feel good—they look great!

I love the belt, expect it would go well with jeans & a lot of your colors. If your current climate doesn’t allow for tons of layering, it could be a great “third piece”.

If I had pants in my closet that fit like that, I’d keep them, because my weight fluctuates 20-30 lb/year. But I’d only buy pants with that fit if I was in the right part of my weight swing.

I’ve been wearing the pants for an hour or so now and they’re totally comfortable, but I’m leaning towards returning because they’re a few inches too long and I’m not sure I want to pay to have them tailored—it would be more complicated than a simple hem, as the ankles have a zipper and gusset.

I do think Janet is right in that they’re supposed to fit closely like this. And man, they’re just so cool.

I like the pants. If they’re comfortable, I say keep.

The children of Fashion Week are wearing zippers long at the ankle this year. I know, it makes no sense, but at least it’s intentional. Did Angie run into something similar? Try them over the boots with the vents open.

Boots are fab and the belt will be such a plus for you, I can imagine it will work well with many of your outfits! It's a special piece.

If you have any doubts on the trousers, best to return them. I know it is a neutral but you tend to wear warm colours and ( to my monitor) these trousers look like a cold taupe, would they work with your wardrobe colours and '60s vibe?

Boots, duster, and belt are all great. Pants are cool but I’d try sizing up on these.

Sizing up on the pants isn’t an option. Aside from the length, they do fit me pretty much like they do the model (see pic). They aren’t cheap, though, and I think I probably want perfection given the price.

It's your wallet but I like the pants. The Hells Angels are from where I grew up. Would one of their Mamas take her pants to a tailor? You just wear it like it is and get on with it, no?

Love the duster sweater and the boots! I hope you keep (and wear!) the belt.

I vote pass on the pants. The alteration sounds like a PITA and I agree with holding out for perfection, especially at a higher price point -- unless they fill an urgent hole in your wardrobe.

I like it all! Including the pants. I would wait a day or two to decide, because it sounds like you love them. The length doesn't sound like a dealbreaker to me; you could wear them tucked into boots and maybe you could wear the zippers open with the pants flaring over the tops of booties or sneakers.

The flower pot is terrific and so funny! Love, love, love the new glasses on you.

I like it all - the boots and duster are no brainer yes’s.

I now view belts as something I would keep forever. I think it’s stunning and will get the wear over it’s life.

I think the pants look great but you have to love them.

The boots & duster, yes! When it comes to trousers, my personal gauge is whether I can sit, squat & bend without discomfort or giving everyone an eyeful I've had my eye on those trousers for quite a while myself, but didn't pull the trigger for those reasons.

This is part of the issue I have with PC - so many gorgeous pieces that I'd love to buy, but no idea how I'd actually use them in real life. I did buy the Dynasty Velveteen jeans on deep discount this summer because of the lovely pattern, but now I'm struggling to find outfit inspiration for them, lol typical...

PS - Language geek alert! That 'eye lift' is called a positive canthal tilt

I see opinions are divided on the pants, but I echo Vildy’s opinion. I think that this is the kind of style where sizing up doesn’t give an ideal result. I’ll have to put mine on and look at the fit — I suspect it’s rather similar to how these fit you, actually. I also think that because mine are darker in color, that helps disguise the creasing I inevitably get at the hip, which doesn’t necessarily mean they’re too small — in fact, sometimes I get that more with pants that are a bit roomy.

The length with the zips at the ankle are another story — again, I’d be inclined to embrace them and play around with styling them in various ways before committing, but I like the vibe on you. I end up wearing them zipped closed so that they’re just touching the tops of my booties (long legs here, with a different set of fit issues!), but now you’ve got me thinking about trying them unzipped.

I agree the belt could get a lot of wear over many years. I love it for your style.

I've been back and forth on the pants - and some of the comments from those who understand the style better than I have been very informative. So now I'm leaning toward "if they feel good and you feel good about the length, go for it!"

Love everything (including the planter) but not the pants. I don’t think it is about the size, it’s the cut IMO. I love the color but the fit gives me pause. The rest is amazing, once again shows your impeccable taste.

After trying out the belt with pretty much every pattern and dress in my wardrobe last night, I went to bed thinking both the belt and the moto pants would be going back Then I tried the belt with jeans this morning, cut the tags, and am wearing it now. I was swayed by Sal’s comments about the longevity of such pieces and Fash’s point about its potential as a “third piece” in warmer weather, so thank you both!

Pants are going back. I compared them to my olive shirt jacket and decided the color just wasn’t doing it for me. I’m really looking for a true olive. Add in them being 2-3” too long (I am 5’9” but all that height is in my torso!) and it’s just too many small things to be a keeper at the price. I asked myself if that same amount of money could be used to buy something that I’d like more and would be equally or more functional in my wardrobe, and the answer was yes.

Love the new belt and boots, duster is made for you! Agree on pants - hopefully better version will be found soon ( kinda liked the dark maroon color pants on the model - maybe because that the color I can't find for myself ).
