New sweater Y or N?

I've been looking for a camel colored long-ish textured sweater for a little while.
I love this one, and it finally got marked down significantly.
I tried it on the other day and snapped pictures. I wasn't happy with what I saw.
Then I took another set of pictures yesterday, and I like it.
Is it just photo perception? What do you all think?
Keep looking?

The sweater looks great on you and I think it is very nice the way you have it styled. It does have that grandpa vibe though, it is the combination of the color, shape and chunky knit. Is that what's bothering you?

Can we see it closed? I'm not loving it 100% and I think I almost bought it (is it from J Crew?) It seems maybe a little too big, maybe.

On you, it's really nice. I suspect that if you looked older, I'd say that it might look frumpy. Styled with the blue-white shirt, though, it is casual and relaxed.

It did seem big in the first set of photos. I want it to be a little relaxed and slouchy, but not big.
It is from J Crew, and it is a small. J Crew runs very large, but they didn't have XS online. I will see if my store has it, but if not I'm not sure what to do with this one...

Sarah, I don't have a problem with the style at all but the color doesn't brighten your lovely face the way everything else you wear does. I'm thinking a slightly deeper shade of camel might be warmer on you. Sorry! I just love you in colors.

I agree with Nakidra it might be a size too large? I think it is nice but not fantatic (sorry!). It looks like you have a great figure and the sweater covers your waist. It looks like a snuggly sweater so maybe if you love it, it is a cozy sweater you just love.

I like it! I think it works much better with a casual outfit, like you show in 4-7. To me, the slouchiness and texture look a little off with the skirt.

I agree that the color may not be the most flattering, but with something bright worn near your face, like your top in 4-7, I think you can totally pull it off. I think that's another reason why 4-7 works better than 1-3.

Edit: I also like the size. To me it looks relaxed and slouchy, not too big

I love you in it in the first set of photos. Maybe because you've styled it so beautifully. It looks a little too big to me with the denim outfit.

I don't like it. The buttons hang in a strange way, and that camel color is just too dull. It looks already old. The length also bother me.

You are always lovely, but the color doesn't flatter. I'm afraid you're heading into soul-sucking beige territory. I vote to return.

I get all hot and bothered by 99% of your clothes. This sweater though just looks a tad off though. I think it is a combination of the color being too oatmeal versus camel and that the big, dark buttons have a bit of that "grandpa" cardigan feel. (I hate that term because my grandpa was my favorite person ever.)

It strikes me as having that grandpa vibe as well. It's not bad, but it's not awesome either. Maybe if it were a few inches longer it would change the feel of it?

I LOVE IT! I like the grandpa vibe. It is still sleek enough to read as feminine. I think it works for your wonderful sleek style but is something a little different in a good way.

This may be mainly an issue of my personal taste, but I can't say I'm a fan. I've seen you wear so many cuts and colors that are more flattering on your lovely self!

I do have to say that I prefer it styled with the jeans, rather than the skirt. It veers into really conservative territory with the skirt, IMHO.

Hmmmm I'm not quite sold on this, but I do like it much better with the jeans outfit. I feel like the color is a bit off for you, but I do like the slouchy vibe. I think perhaps it's just TOO slouchy for your business-wear, but probably a good amount for more casual wear.

Hey Sarah...I've been looking for the perfect cozy camel cardigan sweater, too. IMO, this one is a little too boxy on you.

I just ordered this one:

which has a similar vibe, but has a waist tie. I also tried on a lovely long camel cardigan sweater at WHBM. It was beautiful, but a little too much for my petite frame.

I like it best with the jeans. In fact I like it a lot with the jeans. I do like the large brown buttons and detail at the neck.
