I just bought two new tops for Spring. I am happy to say they are both definitely in my preferred patterns and colors.

The red and white stripe top is the most fabulous quality. It is made here in Bulgaria for a German brand and is a thick pure cotton. The finishes are wonderful. I found it by chance in a store that sells pieces with slight flaws from the local factory and I managed to find this one without ANY flaw. So lucky and I only paid the equivalent of $4. I have always loved stripes since I was a child in the 70's.

The second pic is a black and white graphic print viscose blouse. I am not always a fan of viscose but this is high quality, it feels cool on the skin, yet is quite substantial and I think it is going to work well in our humid summer as well. Also beautifully made by the Swedish brand Ellos. This blouse was staring at me from the window of the thrift store across from where I live since December (the shop was closed the whole winter and for the lock down). I like the longer back. It is a size smaller than I usually where, I think perhaps it is supposed to be a looser fit but I prefer this silhouette. I am going to try it in summer with my knee-length denim shorts. The lovely surprise was that although it was in a thrift store it still had tags and had never been worn, also only $4.

Any comments welcome.
