So glad that you all like the frames, I was worried that perhaps I was having a sugar eye for the frames simply because they were Chanel and the pearls.....
Slim Cat, it was a bit scary to have surgery on my eyes, bit having my vision corrected has been a highlight of 2020 for me, so glad I took the plunge.
Liesbeth, thank you. So glad you like the pearl chain detail.
Jane, the frames are so big, but I was hoping that the metal frame and pearls softened things.
Rachy, I thought the same thing. These look very 1980’s to me, something out of Dynasty perhaps?
Sterling, it is so lovely to glam glasses after always having such a limited selection due to my old prescription.
Minaminu, I love the pearls too.
Nemosmom, it is nice that I can be less conservative now I am essentially working for myself. These glasses may have been a bit over the top in my old accounting firm.
Angie, so glad you like these. A K2K is the best! You have made my day.
Astrid, thank you. It does take a bit of getting used to in seeing myself with such a drastically different frame.
Preppy Pear, I am glad they look pretty as I was worried that they would overwhelm my face.
Cardiff Girl, I must admit it was the pearl chain that really made me want these glasses. I have seen pearl glasses chains on Etsy, so I could have achieved this look with a different gold frame, but I am getting used to these new specs.
Avicenna, glad you saved your grandmothers eye glass chains. They seem to be having a bit of a fashion moment and are practical for reading glasses.
Inge, I think you need a pearl glasses chain, pearls go with everything.
Shevia, so glad you like the frames and think they suit me as I was worried that it may be wishful thinking about whether they looked good on me.
Brooklyn, I never thought I would be happy to have to get reading glasses.
