So, last year I purchased my first-ever cons and a pair of slipper flats from Target. The cons got rave reviews, but the slipper flats, despite their great color and playful dots, didn't receive the enthusiastic welcome --- even from me. I wasn't sure why. When I looked at them in the store they had such potential.
After reading Angie's blog post today, and especially some of the comments that followed, I suspect that my Target slip-ons are lacking in boldness and structure, so I'll be looking for a replacement this spring.
Any suggestions for colors, brands, etc, to fit my peasant feet and wardrobe? Budget is an issue, so value-priced versions are particularly interesting to me.
