New Shoes take two + pearfect top + denim question

I went to exchange the too small shoes today. They only wanted to give me store credit, so I had another look around. The SA was a bit rude and told me that I had tried on all they had in this style already anyway, but - surprise - I found a pair I hadn't tried and they worked! These are much more comfortable. I had to pay additionally because the old pair didn't cover the cost, but I thought shoes were a good place to start investing in a bit more quality. What do you think?

And when I saw this pearfect T-shirt in a store I just had to buy it! Okay, I'm not Californian, but you can't see that part when the top's tucked into the skirt anyway. I'm sure nobody around me will get it, but I love it.

And I have a question about these jeans. I've lost some weight and the straight legs I bought last fall are now too big. But I fit into these again! They are fairly old (long before YLF) but they have PPL with the new shoes. Do they look alright?

Love the new shoes - pretty similar to the others? They will go with so much.

I like your outfit - the tshirt gets a thumbs up from this California girl. You could try the untuck/tuck partial tuck with your jeans sometime too. I am not a "tucker" but it looks cute in a casual way. The jeans are still keepers for sure. Getting nicely and evenly faded.

Thanks Christieanne. They are pretty similar yes, only a bit lighter color. I would have kept the other ones if the fit would have been alright. I've worn a shirt tucked into jeans with a belt in the past, I'll try that with this shirt too. I like tucking! Good to hear that the jeans work, one thing less I have to worry about.

I love it all - the shoes, tee, and jeans! I think the fit of the jeans is fantastic on you - very flattering - and the lighter distressed wash will be great for summer. Isn't it nice to find "new" old things in your closet?

PS - I actually am a California pear... I think I might need one of those tees!
