New Shoes on the Way!

Now, these aren't super glam, but keep in mind that I'm on Team Dressy and Team Polished and I spend my Summers in the humid Midwest with less working and mostly MOTG. These sandals by Dr. Scholl's (and ordered on sale from Famous Footwear) were just the ticket. They sport a bit of a chunky heel that has an added rubber bottom and a cushioned, memory foam foot bed for comfort. I could stay in these all day, and the color is a good match for my skin tone. BTW --- They didn't have my size in the store, but they were quite a bit cheaper on their website, even with a shipping charge.

Now, if that warm weather could just return...........

Those are cute and do look comfortable. I hope you can wear soon (and report back on how your feet react to them....). Nice summer purchase.

Wow! That's quite unlike any of the Scholl's I see around here! Love that chunky heel with the rubber cushioning.

I LOVE those!!! They look perfect. Do you know how they feel? I wonder if I can get them in Canada?

Suz -- They are very "shock absorbing," due to the cushioned foot bed and the rubber on the bottom. I'm between a 9 and and 9.5, but I needed the smaller size for these, because they run a little on the wide side. This works well for me -- sort of a "vanity sizing for the feet!" Most Dr. Scholl's aren't like this. I believe CocoLion has a pair of their booties. Not sure about their "Canadian Policy," but they do have a website. I think they were on Zappos, but were on sale at the famousfootwear.com site.

Thanks, Beth Ann. I am going to keep watching them. My hubby is going back to the US in June and can bring some things back for me. Sandal wearing season starts about then for us, so if they are still available or on sale I might go for them then. Thanks for the info on sizing.

They look like a perfect MOTG sandal for me. I notice they also come in snake print!

very pretty! i have to say that i did buy a cute pair of dr scholls ballet flats once assuming they'd be majorly comfortable and they hurt A LOT! i hope yours are better.

I like those a lot! I've been trying to find nude sandals for three years. I always seem to find the perfect pair AFTER the season, when they're all sold out in my size. I'll have to check those out.

We'll be sandal cousins! I tried on the nude pair at DSW and loved how they felt, but couldn't justify another pair of nude wedge sandals. When I got home I found the snakeskin pair and had to pull the trigger! I've been looking for a pair of great snakeskin sandals and these are unbelievably comfortable, especially for the heel height.
