Yesterday I found these cheap H&M shoes which filled a forgotten wardrobe hole. I havn't had this kind of shoes (or converse!) in many years and have really missed it. These H&M shoes were both comfortable and cheap. I must admit that NYC + walkning all day was in my mind. I also thought they could go with most of my clothes (even a LBD styled very casual) and I could have dressyer shoes in my handbag if I need (or want) it.
