Since I purged all the shoes that were wrong for one reason or another-not comfy, why did I ever get these in the first place, etc. I have space for new ones. Also sticking to New Years resolution of not buying any shoes just because they were on sale, my size, and cute. Now I carefully think thru how they will fit into my wardrobe and lifestyle. Picture them with different outfits, and what I will be thinking of clothing purchases. You see, I was on my way of being a shoe nut with my out of control shoe buying. So it took three weeks of looking and thinking to finally decide on these just ordered ones. In my climate they will be year round shoes,except for the few colder months when it may rain. Only thing I did not think about is the longevity of the style. But I will get enough wear out of them from now thru next year that it is not a concern. Anyhow I am just feeling proud of me for getting this shoe stuff under control. It was actually easy to get rid of the 3 bags of shoes from my closet. I did not count how many pairs, but at least 10. They all went to a thrift shop for a womens shelter. I am sure some of them are being enjoyed by others. Also some were only worn two or three times.
