#1-3 caramel Oxfords Yay or nay?

#4-6 dark green suede wedged desert booties yay or nay? I shall be keeping these unless they are a major fashion fail as they are my favourite comfy heel height, have a lovely wide toe box with plenty of room for my tootsies and have a lovley squisy Clarks 'softwear' insole

A big yay to the oxfords from me! And I love the green colour of the booties, Louise. They do look a bit more casual than the grey leather ones, but that's not a bad thing as such (and on my screen the grey leather looks a bit plastic-y anyway).

I say keep both!

Inge I got the feeling from the picture that the grey leather looks a bit plasticy. I don't mind that the suede looks a bit more casual I don't have to do smart for work so these would be fine. My head was just thinking 'play safe with grey' but my heart is over ruling it!! The oxfords will need some house wear as they don't feel as wide in the toe box x

I hear you, Louise, I LOVE green too and you know, it's much harder to find comfy green shoes than grey ones, so keep these beauties!

Fingers crossed the oxfords will be very comfy soon as well.

I've never actively sought green footwear but these are making my toes tingle (metaphorically not because they are too tight!!) x

I love the oxfords! I actually think that color of green will be pretty versatile. I prefer the green to the gray.

Yay on the oxfords. The booties are cute too, I prefer the green just because it's different. I'd still consider it pretty neutral.

Both pairs are gorgeous! The oxfords are especially cute. For me the desert boots would be more versatile in gray, but they are fun and unique in green. I guess it mostly depends on your wardrobe and what you need them for!

Thanks all, I think I'm going to return the oxfords, I was happy to keep both if they were perfect but I just don't love the Oxfords as much as the green booties.

Sometimes I find we need to get used to a new style before we feel comfy in it. Oxfords will not disappear if you decide at a later date to try them. The desert boots totally rock.

I have a pair of dark blue suede Oxfords which are fab but a bit 'heavy' for spring/ summer. I had a gorgeous very pale green pair which *hanging head in shame* I bought knowing they where too small but hoping they would stretch! I wish they'd had them in a larger size x

They both look great. I love the caramel oxfords - haven't managed to buy any so far and not sure I can justify the cost at the moment.

What a shame about the pale green ones - I've done that...

Polly I was absolutely gutted about the pale green ones. They were from TKMaxx so no other sizes and they were the softest leather and squishy- est insoles and while they may have stretched widthways there was no way they would gain in length x

I would have decided as you did - the green booties are so WOW and different, but to me the oxfords are just okay. Yay for comfy boots!

Rae- comfy boots are the bestest thing in the whole world!

Aida- The love is just not there! I keep trying them on and I like them and they feel fine on but then I look at the green ones and my toes tingle which they don't with the oxfords x
