I've finally managed to find some comfortable shoes to fill a closet hole.
#1 and 2 - Clarks metallic (a very soft gold) ballet flats with a strap (to keep them on) - these are lovely and soft, have padded insoles and are wide enough for my toes. (Please excuse the cropped pants I am wearing!) I can't believe I've found something this comfortable after such a long time searching. They do other colours, and I am tempted ...
#3 and 4 - Clarks metallic (bronze colour) sandals - again have a padded insole and a slight wedge which is more comfortable than completely flat for me. These are to be 6 or 8 hour sandals (I have several pairs of flat strappy sandals, but they are too flat to wear for longer than about 2 hours if I am doing a lot of walking).
I've pretty much decided they are both keepers But would be interested in opinions (and if everyone hates them, I may change my mind)
Oh, and please excuse the ironing basket in the background - I meant to move it, but forgot.
