I had to post these new shoes. Who else am I going to share my excitement with?
(And do I ever take a break from buying shoes??)

My shoe guy at Nordstrom called today to say there were some Paul Greens in that I might be interested in. I tried them on and bought them. I like the tapered toe, which is almost but not quite pointy. Still, tapered enough to be more refined than my other oxfords (Naot Kedma and an older pair of Born Arlettas). They are a shade of taupe that I love, they have perforations in the leather, which give a textural interest that I adore, and they have the amazing fit and comfort that all my other Paul Green shoes have. I couldn't pass them up, even though I hardly need them.
I'm seriously thinking of forgoing pointy toe flats (search outlined here) for these. Though I could get/keep pointy toe flats, too. I am just more excited to wear the oxfords. So perhaps it might be best to wait on the flats.
Anyway, just had to share. This is definitely not a keep or return decision. The oxfords are staying.

Oh, also, I'm showing the new shoes with what I wore today (photo 1) followed by the outfit with the shoes I wore today (2-3): navy chinos (Caslon); print & stripe short-sleeved tee (made by me); navy and gray birds-eye knit cardigan (Eddie Bauer); gray backpack (Rebecca Minkoff); black and white snake print sneakers (Mephisto).

Thanks for looking! I welcome any thoughts you may have!
