New Scarf-print Caftan - some outfits

I fell in love with this caftan online and saw someone wearing it earlier in the week. It's "my" color and striking in person so I just had to have it!

I've tried it three ways. The one with the black skinny jeans is the most straight-forward, but that's never enough for me! Let me know how you feel about these outfits and suggestions are welcome!

My fav is #1, it is gorgeous with the silky clams. Looks great with the black skinnies, and fine with the white jeans, but divine to my eye in #1.

It certainly is your colour. WOW! The caftan is stunning on you, Jenava. You have such a great eye for colour combos too. I would never have thought of pairing it with brownish khaki, but it really works. FWIW: I love all three outfits.

Wow - that color is really amazing on you! My favorite of the 3 is the black skinnies, but I hear you that it's the more "expected" way to go. #1 is pretty awesome too. I'd say that of these three, the last one is my least favorite.

I like #1 best for a casual setting that demands walking. Love it with the little silver flats!

I like the proportions best of #2. Skinny bottoms with volume on top. But the black overpowers the caftan some how, and the shoes are a tad severe for the soft top - if we are splitting hairs

I like the caftan colours best matched with white bottoms in #3 - but not as much with the flare on the leg. LOVE the colours here - with the light shoes!!

KILLER caftan on you, Jenava. You own those colours!!!

Sooner, Jenava!! Those white KUT skinnies (Diana fit) are selling like hot cakes because the fit and fabric are amazing. (I bought a pair last week because they impressed me more than premium white skinnies so far this season). They are one of my "Fab Finds" this week so lots of people will be trying them. Order them now

Oh, that's so funny! I am wearing my dark wash Diana's today! (-: Love them! I do have to size down and get them taken in almost 2 inches in the waist, but once that's done they fit amazing and they are incredibly easy to wear.

Great stuff, Jenava! I wonder if this years Diana fit from KUT is a little different? I did not have to take the waistband in at all - and 50% of the time on jeans I do.

I don't really have anything to compare it with since I didn't try them last year. I originally bought the dark wash pair with contrast stitching for my cousin for Christmas. She had a baby about 2 years ago, and her body has changed a LOT and she was at her wits end with clothes. They were so amazing on her - almost brought a tear to my eye to see her looking so good - I had to get a pair for myself. (-: In fact, when I was returning the size that didn't work (I had purchased two sizes since it was a gift and I wanted to make sure she didn't have to hassle with an exchange), the lady at customer service commented how nice they looked and felt and that she was going to go try on a pair for herself! (-:

Anyway, I have to tailor the waist probably 85% of the time on pants, so not a huge surprise there for me...and probably not a good litmus test for how well they fit in the waist for most people, either.

Angie, have you put yours to the test yet? I have had mixed results with the Diana skinnies. My black ones don't bag or stretch a bit - I could wear them for days if I wanted to. My denim wash ones stretch out though after one wearing, for some strange reason.

Interesting - I have the Kut Dianas in the dark "exquisite wash" and I love them, although they do stretch more than my black KftK - I have to hoist them a bit. But I tried the "Kut from the Koth white skinny jeans" and they didn't fit well at all. I don't see the Diana's in white on the Nordies website.

Sarah, I think they white skinny jeans are Dianas...they just didn't put the title as the same..or, maybe they're technically not because the fit is different? Anyway, those are the ones I ordered. Now I'm really curious to see the fit difference! I also have the exquisite wash and they fit well, along with two pair of the skinny cords.

Those colored diana's on the Nordies site look pretty cute, I must say : )

Jenava, my eye could be biased because I'm Indian, living in India, surrounded by slouchy salwars --- but I LOVE your first outfit with the slouchy gathered pants!

Absolutely stellar styling! Sure to make heads turn, if the kaftan on you (it *does* look as if it was made *just for you*) alone doesn't do it for the dense-est, most preoccupied of us! And I actually thing it also works because it coordinates rather than matching, fwiw...
