The last few weeks I've been mostly working outside with Mr.Maven to rebuild our garden and chase away squirrels and rabbits. I'm way behind on YLF, but I'll catch up. After 2 days of 101° weather, the new plants may not survive, but we're doing fine. I did get about an inch cut off my hair a month ago--looks better. I haven't yet decided what ultimate length I will leave. Turns out I don't miss going to the hairdresser every 5 weeks.

I also got a pedicure for the first time in 15 months, and the feet are ready for another round.

I have lots of foot issues and I've bought many pairs of shoes/sandals in the last few months. I'm going to count them and report.

SAS Embark style in Sinful Snake. I tried them on and found no fault with them, except they may be a bit eccentric for me. Good footbed for my feet, 3 easily adjustable straps. I will re-adjust the back strap so the black doesn't show. They are pinkish and sparkly, but better than solid black for me.

Here's the sandals, me with haircut, and new great-grand-baby with her sister. Baby born 10 days ago, same birthday as oldest g-g-kid.

I just started physical therapy for back problems, but turns out isn't my back, it's my neck. This also put off for 15 months.

Now getting back into "society." Weird at first. Did get to see my niece & her husband a few weeks ago when they came to visit family here.
