New red patent bag

I got this Monsac bag during one of SmartBargains' amazing time-limited sales. It is exactly the red I wanted - a deep shade called "Claret" - which is very important since I'm a little scared of red. I do love the bag, though, so now I have to work it into my wardrobe.

I have to admit that I was a little unsure when I saw the first picture, however when I clicked on the second link and saw the scale of the bag against your body I had to reconsider and now think it is great.

Your coat is beautiful and would look fabulous with the bag.

You and your sister certainly have been busy little bees in the past week.

I'm so glad you all approve of this bag. I do love it - I seem to have a crush on patent items lately. As I said to Mae yesterday, I have a large, emerald-green patent tote that I often bring on my frequent Amtrak sojourns, and I will have to plan carefully so I never carry these two items together. I don't want to be known as Patent, the Christmas Elf...
