New pinky- red frames

Hi everyone I picked up my new progressives and my prescription sunglasses today. The sunnies are quite similar to my previous Oroton ones which I have had for maybe 10 years? These are Tommy Hilfiger.
The pinky-red frames are a no-name Specsavers brand. I’m really happy and will wear them even with my non-red non-pink clothing.
I think this will have been the right decision rather than buying the tartan ones which would have been more restrictive according to what I would have been willing to wear with them.

Love you in red! You have found just the right shade. I can’t decide about the sun glasses.
ETA: the sun glasses look very large on you, maybe overpowering, this from someone who likes big Jackie Kennedy sun glasses.

They may be, Joy, but I hate light getting in around the edges so I buy my sunglasses large on purpose. The last ones were the same. Glad you like the main ones!

I love the new glasses and Jacki O sunglasses frames. Whilst I loved the tartan frames, these are more subtle and would work with most colours. I also like how the smaller frame fits your face. The new red top and matching shoes are wonderful on you.

The new frames are a lovely nearly-neutral on you! The sunglasses do look a little big, but that’s a thing for sunglasses so I say go for it if you enjoy them!

Do you ever keep a second pair in a current prescription? Sometimes it’s nice to have just a little variety in frames (like Angie’s blue or red ones). Maybe the tartan ones could still be an option for you as a backup/fun pair, if they’re not too expensive. I only have one frame style in my current prescription and sometimes I wish I had another option, style wise.

Thanks everyone. Janet I intended to still wear the older frames sometimes because the prescription has not changed very much, so I have two nice options. I think the tartan is too expensive to be worthwhile for the small amount of time I might choose that one.

You look fab in the pink glasses. Perfect shape and the colour looks to me, as slim cat says, almost a neutral. I also thought at first that the sunglasses are a bit too large but I understand the reason for choosing them (my eyes are also rather sensitive to light).
Super pretty outfit! You wear red very well.
