I bought these booties this week...The back is leather and the front is canvas. I'm hoping the canvas portion will make them seem more appropriate for warm weather.
The fit is my usual size 8.5, and they are very comfy to walk in.
There is one review on Nordstrom, and the reviewer stated that the fabric stretched. I haven't worn them enough to know if this will be an issue.

I'm sure you'll see them in a WIW in the future, and I can update on whether there was stretching or not.
