New Pantone colors f/w :)

Root beer and adobe are definites for me, since I'm focusing on non black neutrals now. Maybe mykonos blue, fire whirl and leprechaun (with vastly different pieces than hers...) for accents.

ETA I’m back. Root beer does look like a great color for you. Mykonos Blue: I do not think that word means what they think it means—but being Pantone, they might be able to change the definition. Then again, how many centuries old is the use of that other Mykonos blue on that island? I’m looking forward to the leprechaun, which is not as goofy as it sounds. Soft pink looks similar to the ice pink I already wear, and fuchsia is right up my alley—I’ve been trying to figure out how to break up & wear a linen suit in that shade. She has chosen some beautiful scarves here.

Btw, this inspired me to go look at Pantone’s predictions, which I didn’t know were out yet. Some beautiful colors here! Their interpretation of Mykonos is more what I think of than the version on the Viv files. https://www.pantone.com/articl.....-2021-2022

Yes to Adobe for leather accessories
maybe the fuchsia or soft pink for a accent piece...

What gorgeous names!! I am really feeling yellow this year. It is a hard color for me to wear, but pale, grayish yellow works, without any red. Rare to come by, though!

Meh then to mykonos- way too blue for me Was thinking it was a deep teal. But that soybean color looks like a good "white to me" so all is not lost!

I like that color, and the two other blues (which are just shades of denim to me- one light wash, one dark wash).

Ooh I’ll take Spring Lake and Root Beer together please! The brights are a little much for me, but mid-tone blue with a warm dark brown sounds perfect, especially with some off-white accents.

I’ve been seeing a lot of that blond-beige “soybean” colour. Not quite right for me, but it’s a really nice light neutral option.

FI, thanks for the Pantone link. I will take Ultimate Grey, I have been missing greys as a neutral. I found a pair of grey boots in the year end sales, but not much else.

I like the browns, best, Adobe and Rootbeer. The colors are mostly cool...too cool for me. I like the bright yellow, but am not sure that I can wear it. Maybe on the bottom. The red is not really very fiery, too much blue.
That very dark navy is something I have some of but find it hard to wear except with light neutrals. It is too dark to go well with black.

Here are the colors from Pantone. My favorites are the pale pink, the grey, the olive, and all of the blues.

I think Joy just hit on why they all work so well for me—they are cool-toned, which is great for me. I’m not crazy about the soybean, adobe or the neutrals, but the coco is nice, and the olive and grey are probably the best versions of those colors for me.
