Since we have talked about outlet shopping recently and also in connection to Runcarla’s post about warmer winters and changing outerwear etc., I would like to show you one of my new outlet finds.
It is a dark olive trench coat from Bogner I have bought for a fraction of the regular price. I don’t know if it is from an old season maybe even a couple of seasons back. It probably is. But it looks very modern to my eye. The color is rather trending and the coat is longer and a bit oversized. At the same time a total classic. So far, I love the look of it and I am thrilled with this purchase.
The best part is that the coat comes with a removable thin down jacket inside. The jacket can be worn separately on its own or under another coat. Sooo great! I have tried it on quickly and I will most probably keep it. The German outlet has good return policy otherwise, so I will try it on properly before a final decision. The outer material is a blend of cotton and polyester and feels windproof while the down insert will be warm enough even for our milder winter days. It should work wonderfully for our climate.
I have a couple of traditional beige trench coats which I have been wearing on and off. But I love the color of this one. Planning on wearing it with yellow, black, pinks, chocolate…. Well, all colors in my wardrobe.
