I took these a while ago but couldn't post them because I couldn't find my camera cable. But, I found it!

So first up are the cardigans I was agonizing over. Which gray is better? Warm or cool? Logic tells me warm because I am warm toned, but my eyes say cool so that's what I ended up keeping. However, the warm colored one looked great with my cream dress. Tricky.

Second are the Eric Michael Liat boots in a not so typical color for me. They are too tall when up all the way, so I scrunched them down in the second set of pics. I'm not sure how I feel about them though.

I have the option to exchange them for these boots in black. Those are more me but maybe too safe.

Nooo, keep the boots in cognac - they look so fab on you!!!

I do like the second sweater better on you, but the style is "so Maya" I don't mind the cooler gray.

Maya, I actually prefer the warmer-toned cardigan (surprisingly so, because I would have guessed cool if I hadn't seen the pictures!) And I love the color and style of your boots when they are srunched. I think they are different from your more typical black, and I've actually been considering pairing my boots that are the same color with black skinny jeans since I like the black/mid-brown contrast.

Scrunched down boots look great and this color is so unexpected on you that it is delicious. Keep them!
Actually I think both of these cardigans look good on you but warm makes your skin glow more.

I actually like the cool toned cardi on you but both look good.
(just to confuse you...)

But I instinctively prefer cooler tones anyway as I'm so used to picking them for myself!

I think you made a good choice!

Does the cooler one look good with the cream dress as well?

Don't be mad but I prefer the second cardi (warmer gray) on you. It brightens you up nicely. (To my eye anyway) I LOVE the boots with black, and don't you have a lot of black? Please keep them they are so cool and edgy, fits in perfectly with your style.

I like cardi 2. The color just seems to brighten & enhance your skin tone better. I think you should TOTALLY keep the boots in this color! They will be awesome this fall and you'll probably be surprised how versatile they end up being. My only question in on the fit - they look a bit loose in the calf, especially in photo 2. What do you think?

Photo 2 is with them pulled up, which is too tall, as I said. Scrunched down a bit they fit fine. And they are slouchy so they don't have to be too fitted.

I wish I had the money and heel tolerance for the Frye Rory boots, but I don't, so I was hoping these would be a good alternative.

Guess I'm exchanging those cardis on Saturday...

I strongly prefer the second cardigan. I assume that is the warm one? My brain would also tell me Maya, cool, but there you go. I was going to say that although those are great boots they really seem too big (too much volume on the calf, even scrunched), but I see most people feel very differently.

Both cardis look great #1 throws a lovely paleness up to your skin whereas #2 throws a warmerness (is that even a word!!) they both look great to me. KEEP the boots they are gorgeous. Are they comfy?
Edit Duh Louise of course they are comfy or she wouldn't be considering keeping them!!!

Echoing what others have already said: The boots are really beautiful, and will go so well with black. I slightly prefer the second cardigan, but both look fine.

Those boots look like they were made for you! Just beautiful and I can see them being extremely versatile for many seasons....I prefer the warm cardi also- it does give your skin a glow and I love the style of it!

Please keep the boots. They look fantastic they way you have styled them. I was going to say that I liked the first cardi better but then looked again and like both. No help, sorry. Since you are getting mixed reviews, keep the one that goes best with your wardrobe.
