I know, it's January. But my winter wardrobe is pretty much set and I'm starting to think about warm weather - almost all of what I wore last summer is huge on me now and I'm doing a huge purge.

I've fallen in love with flowered wrap dresses like these - sort of the Hawaiian/tiki style from the 50s and 60s. They seem like they'd be so easy and so cool in the heat and humidity. I could see wearing one with a light cardi for work, or alone with sandals on the weekend, or with a big floppy hat and big sunglasses for a summer day out. What do you think - do they fit into the fashion persona I'm developing? I find summer dressing much harder.

Oh, and a bonus - the last photo is a 1940s shirtdress I bought on Friday, also for the warm weather - it's on its way right now. My mother looked at the picture and said people were going to ask me to take their order, but I don't care. I think it's adorable.
