New shoes, new shoes! It's been such a while since I bought new shoes that I find myself rather unnaturally excited at having new ones
Having bought my new sheath dress (my first foray into dress/skirt wearing), I wanted to buy a lower vamped heel to wear with it than the ones I have. I had seen some patent heels online that I wanted to try on, but they weren't available. However I found these on sale at the Clarks store, and what's more, they were in my size.

Do they look like they'd be alright with a skirt or dress? Also I was a bit unsure if the metallic was a good choice or if metallics are likely to go out of fashion? These look like a pewter shade to me. Are they a winner or should I keep looking?
