Popping in briefly to share a new line at Macys called Jill Jill Stuart, which I heard about from their email list. A few samples of the roughly 28 pieces are shown in finds below. I don't care much for ruffles or puffed sleeves, but I love these prints. If you like the colors AND love ruffles this line might be up your alley! There are other prints too, mostly in similar/coordinating colors.
I think she's a pretty well known high end designer ( her name sounds familiar) who has joined the ranks of those who have created more modestly priced lines.
This type of steely blue is the #1 color I want to add to my wardrobe for spring/summer so I may try the moto jacket.
On a related note, yesterday I read an article in the Washington Post called "Americans are coming back to Macy's to shop for clothes". I personally shop there a lot because they have a lot of different lines and styles that come in petite sizes. The fabric quality is not always so great on some of the lower priced ones, but if I'm picky I do well. It's nice to hear a bright spot in all the retail struggles. The article is here
