For almost 6 years I've been working part-time selling sewing machines and vacuums and teaching sewing classes. In the next couple of weeks I'm switching to a new part-time position at a women's clothing boutique. The store is OSKA in Seattle, and the German clothing line is one that has inspired my sewing. I'm excited to do something different, more fashion- and style-focused. It will be fun to help women choose clothing that makes them look and feel fabulous. (Kind of like YLF forum, in real life.)
I'll be wearing a "uniform" of several pieces of clothing from the store. Once I get those pieces, I will create some outfits and show them on the forum! Now my sewing will be focused on the play clothes I'll wear on days off.
Just wanted to share the news with you all.
