The problem with having a kid who works at a boutique and likes mommy to visit and bring her coffee .... is that the boutique has lots of nice things.
I got these black Citizens Charlotte jeans and pink Gentle Fawn blouse yesterday. I'm not always intending to wear them together (I see light blue flares for spring with the blouse), but I decided to play some outfits this afternoon.
I really like the cut of these Charlotte jeans. Daughter and her boss say they're supposed to look like vintage levi's but with a nice stretch. I see them as a good slim straight cut. (FWIW I find them to run a little large; I sized down from 25 to 24.)
I've mixed in a black Level 99 faux suede moto, a blue Allsaints moto that I love the color of but have decided to take to consignment because it looks so bulky, a Veronica Beard blazer, and an Anine Bing blazer. I ultimately went with the faux suede moto today.
I also have a few boots in the mix -- pink and blue snake, rose, red and cream.
