I ended up returning to the shop* and buying
the blouse and jacket that many of you liked in my previous thread http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ppreciated

I'm wearing them today.

I like the blouse alone, but not in
combination with the jacket (which is fine, they weren't bought to
necessarily go together - but I was in a hurry dressing this morning). I
think it makes my midsection look too bulky.

Not sure the skirt is great with the jacket
either

The jacket was a compromise. I think a
size up would have been better (I tried it in white), but they were sold out. I
would have preferred fastenings too. But I have been looking for jackets for over a year now, and this will do for the moment. And reduced to $79, that is pretty reasonable for a jacket.

Would love to hear your thoughts and as always, criticism is fine.

*Extra reading - This was a bit of a saga in itself. I got in my car to head to the mall, and it wouldn't start. Not good, as it is an LPG car, so would need to be towed if if runs out of fuel. So I decided to catch the bus.

Got to the bus stop (about 700m away) and decided I might as well walk. I felt very Suz-ish at that point! Took me 17 minutes and decided that I'd catch the bus home as my shoes, though comfortable, weren't really up to it and as I'd be carrying parcels.

On the way home accidentally got off 2 stops early and walk 1km anyway! It felt so strange catching the bus somewhere suburban, that I drive past all the time, even through I catch a bus into the city multiple times a week.

Good news - the car was fine later in the day- must have been having a cold morning moment earlier

Extra reading 2

I just (after taking the pictures) spilled black tea on the blouse. Thank goodness I was wearing a cami. I took off the blouse, wore just the jacket and scarf over the cami (looks fine, actually) and raced into the kitchen to pour boiling water over it. Hope it works!
