It isn't 100% finished but it's close enough that I'm ok with posting pics. I want a headboard for the bed but DH doesn't want to cover up the walls because they're really cool. My overall theme for the house has been "house from found objects", so some things are deliberately mix-matched.

#1: The bed sits on a platform with storage. It was a custom build, just for me. We went with light grey, weathered looking stain so it would go with almost any bedspread/comforter. I currently have a set on there that was given to us by mom & my sister. The colors are masculine enough that they don't bother DH; and its heavy enough that he's comfortable at night with the a/c going full blast on him a few feet away. I've also included some headboards I'm considering (9-11). I think they'll give me what I want without covering up the wall treatment, so hopefully DH will agree to it. I like the one in pic 9 the best, but wanted options in case DH doesnt agree with my choice LOL
#2: The blanket ladder under the mountain man print is one of the sides of a baby crib that I bought for $10 at the local trade days. My neighbor wanted the headboard for a project and I wanted the sides so it was a great purchase
#3: I didn't put a door between the bedroom & the rest of the house, so I bought a room divider for the rare occasions when it's necessary to kind of close off the bedroom.
#4: The side table that looks like stairs was a custom build just for me. My little Mollie needs a way to get in & out of the bed that doesn't risk her little dachshund spine with a bunch of jumping. It had storage built into it, because my house is small and I can't waste any space. Next to the side table is a teeny tiny little closet that holds my swiffer and extendable floofie duster.
#5: His side table was a gift from the neighbor. It's an old cedar piece, and I like how simple (minimal?) yet rustic it is.
#6: The bathroom is accessed through a sliding barn type door. The door & walls are reclaimed wood. I made a sort of "family gallery" wall with pictures of moms, dads, kids, and etcetera on one side, the other side is my WIW mirror.
#7: above the sliding barn door, there are textured glass panels that let in the light from the rising sun, but not so glaring that it's obnoxious. Those glass panels were a freegan find from when we cleaned out a defunct tile warehouse in Shreveport. I had 3 of them, but one got broken.
#8: I screen capped the ceiling fan we have in the bedroom because it's rather warm in Texas today & I didn't want to turn the fan off.
The last pic is DH's crossbow. I allow it to hang on the wall because it's cool like Daryl Dixon

Thanks for looking! Any comments or critiques are welcomed and appreciated XOXOXO
