Hi -

I've been reading YLF for a few months and am so impressed with how much you all help each other out.

I've been inspired to makeover my 40-something self after reading all of your posts and Angie's fabulous advice.

Here is my question/problem. I have extremely fine/thinning hair and have no idea what to do with it. My scalp is pretty visible on the top of my head and my part is very wide. It is currently shoulder length and I am tired of fighting with it. I've been keeping it long on the top because I am afraid that cutting any type of layers would only make it look thinner. I am ready to do just about anything to make it look better.

Does anyone have any ideas for a flattering style? I have a full, round face and my hair is brown with reddish/blonde highlights. Thanks!
