Thanks! I like the cut. Not many reactions so far, as I just had it done a few hours ago. My husband likes it, so that's good.
I'm surprised at how many of you prefer me as a brunette. I always felt my darker hair was so flat and lifeless. I realize I didn't need to go this light to change that, but it's interesting.
I'm wondering if these photos aren't a bit muted compared to my real shade? For example, in the pictures Sandy just posted of our get together, my hair appears very warm, but in the photos I posted after I just had it done, it appears very one dimensional and cooler toned. My hair looks much warmer to me than it does in the photo I just posted, but I don't know how to take it more accurately. Maybe I'll see if someone can take my photo outdoors sometime.
Either way I'm happy with it. I sort of wanted chunkier highlights, but this is good too. I'm not attached to my hair, and I feel like if I never try new things I'll end up with something dated. I also know that if I hadn't tried this color I'd have always wondered what it would look like. I'm sure there will come a time when I "settle down" with my hair, but for now I'm enjoying being adventurous.
It will probably stay a similar color for awhile because I don't want to do anything too drastic to soon so it can stay as healthy as possible.
